Wonder Dog Gracie NEW RELEASE - Crafty Stamp Co

Hey all! Happy Wednesday! Today I have another fun card for everyone featuring the NEW RELEASE Wonder Dog Gracie 4x6 Clear Stamp Set. I had a great time creating this fun card for my son's birthday. He is getting a lot of cards with this release, haha! Stephen was rather young when Gracie passed away, so this will be a nice card for him.

It is kind of hard to explain how I decided to create this card. All the ideas just came out kind of at once. If you can imagine all the little creative moths jumping up and down like a party because they had ideas. 

I actually colored the On The Cover 4x6 Clear Stamp Set first, about a week before. So I decided to go with the same colors and make it truly a comic book look for the card. Then the moths gave me the bright idea to put #2 and "Oops" from Super Sentiments 4x6 Clear Stamp Set. Stephen does NOT like cleaning up the dogs... so I thought this would be hysterical! But for anyone else, what a great card for a belated birthday card! 

 

I decided to also use the "WTF" from Super Sentiments Clear Stamp Set on the card, even though I didn't really want to. It was put in the Super Sentiments set simply because my kids think it is funny because I said it was for What The Fur. So I know he will like it. 

 

 I used some nice shiny blue cardstock that I was given YEARS ago from a friend. It is really coming in handy with all these cards I am currently creating because I love how it looks. You can also see some of the Comic Backgrounds Pattern Paper for the very first layer of the card. 

 

I finished the card off by using the Happy Birthday sentiment from the On The Cover Clear Stamp Set.

Greens: YG03, 07, 11
Yellows: Y15, 17, 19
Blues: B12, 21, 23, 24, 29
Reds: R05, 17, 29, 59
White: W0, 1
Black: 100

CARD MEASUREMENTS:

• Base: 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2
• White: 4 x 4 5/8 & scraps
• Blue: (2) 2 x 4 1/2
• Pattern Paper:  5 1/4 x 4
