Super Sentiments NEW RELEASE - Crafty Stamp Co.

Hey all! Happy Monday! I have not written on my blog in a very long while. I have been still creating but in a different way. I have been creating new stamp sets for Crafty Stamp Co. I am so excited about this NEW RELEASE I had to make a few cards! I will be sharing something new all week, and hopefully next week as well. Today I am featuring the NEW RELEASE Super Sentiments

Clear Stamp Set. I love this set because you can either use it alone, or use it with the other stamp sets of the release. 

The card I created today to show off the Super Sentiments, I also used the NEW Comic Background 6x6 Pattern Paper, and the Comic Page Builder 6x6 Stencil.

I used the black and white sheet of pattern paper from the NEW Comic Backgrounds 6x6 Pattern Paper. I wanted the Super Sentiments too look like they were being said inside of the building windows. This card is meant to be an encouragement card for my son, who just got his first job. 

I when placing the layer for the pattern paper, I didn't want to just lay it down normally. I grabbed the Comic Page Builder 6x6 Stencil. I used it to draw the lines on the paper, then cut the paper to look like a comic book page. I love all the different things you can do with this stencil! 



This Super Sentiment with the OMG I was trying to use my Deco Foil glue to put foil on just the lightening bolts of the sentiment. However, I didn't let it dry enough and kind of killed it. I still like how it looks though because my son has never seen me do this one cards. It will be nice for him. 


This sentiment is actually from the NEW RELEASE Wonder Dog Gracie 4x6 Clear Stamp Set. I didn't get it to come out to well this time so I went over it with a 100 Copic marker.

This is one of the best things about owning a stamp company. We can create things the bring us some of the best memories in our lives. I finished this off with some red holeless sequins.

Yellows: Y15, 17, 19
Blues: B23, 24, 29
Reds: R05, 17, 29, 59
White: W0, 1
Black: 100

CARD MEASUREMENTS:

  • Base: 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2
  • White mats:
    • 5 3/8 x 4 1/8
    • 3 1/2 x 4 3/4
    • 4 3/8 x 3 3/8
  • Blue: 5 1/4 x 4
  • Yellow: 4 5/8 x 3 3/8
  • Red:  4 5/8 x 3 3/8
  • Pattern Paper:  4 3/8 x 3 3/8 (before cut down with the stencil)
