Marci with Apples Halloween Style! La-La Land Crafts New Release
Hey all!! Happy Saturday!!Y'all probably remember Marci with Apples from the October 2020 Club La-La Land Crafts Kit!?! Well she is now released so anyone can purchase her and I am having LOADS of fun with her for Halloween!
I LOVE HER! With it being Halloween I am completely in the mood and though of the poison apples from Snow White! So, yes, I went there! Come on you knew that I would heehee
So in the photo the back apples look a little more glossy or shiny. I actually put glossy accents on all of the apples! You know I HAD to, they were screaming for it!
Of course, I had to add spiderwebs everywhere. I did this with a white gel pen. After the pen dried I went over it again with a C3 Copic marker. I didn't want it to be stark white.
The hat may look a little over blended but that isn't from the Copic markers or coloring. I actually put some clear Wink of Stella on all the black parts except for her boots. I wanted it to all have a bit of sparkle. Gosh! I just realized I have not used Wink of Stella in FOREVER! (draw that out like a background echo it has been that long haha)
Here are her adorable little boots. I had to make them look shiny but I didn't want to use a white gel pen. I am praying that I can replicate this, since I am teaching everyone in my Copic Academy classes how to do this on Tuesday (October 12, 2021). Pray for me please haha!
The last thing I did after adding everything on the card was to cut some .. well actually Meadow cut out some Spiderweb Corner Dies from Very Vanilla Cardstock and I brushed over them with Black Soot Distress Oxide ink.
The Copic Colors I used are:
Skin: E00, 04, 11, 21, R20, 30, BV34Black: C3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9
Oranges: YR12, 14, 15, 16, 18, 24
Purples: BV34, 11, 13, V14, 18
If you like the way I color and would like to learn from me, come join Copic Academy!
Until next time friends!!!
