Caffeinated Unicorn - The Rabbit Hole Designs & Coffee Loving Cardmakers Preview
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

There were several stamp sets sent out to team members. I was happy to have gotten the Caffeinated Unicorn. The other's are just as cute, but since Meadow LOVES unicorns, this was perfect for me to start out with. Yes, I said start out with because her stamps, the quality and everything about them are amazing! I cannot wait to start playing with more of them.

The stamps are clear stamps but, they are strong! Not that cheap stuff that you would rip in half just trying to get it off the plastic holder sheet. It also cleans very well. I have stamped it and cleaned it several times and there is no yellowing of the stamp at all. The stamped image after just inking it a little bit is FANTASTIC! it isn't all blotchy and I didn't even have to condition it first. I found that out because I actually forgot to before stamping haha! These are great quality stamps!

The sentiments are cute! It comes with a couple of different ones. I like the Caffeine makes me sparkle, it is so perfect. I stamped the sentiment with Distress Oxide Walnut Stain ink. It did stamp perfectly but then I used a bit of water to make it look more like coffee.

I also used Wink Of Stella Clear pen to put sparkles in the hair of the unicorn after I colored it. I hope you can kind of see from this photo. It is probably the only thing that I don't like about the Wink of Stella is that it is so faint (yet still pretty in person) that it is hard to see on a photo so I can show all of you.
I have to admit I was a bit intimidated by the hair. I was not sure where I was going to start coloring it at all. However, after looking at some photos of "Unicorn Hair" on Pinterest I decided it was more like a fade in fade out puzzle. I didn't pay attention to the lines, I just decided where I wanted the colors to go and it worked!
For the robe that was fun. To me robes should always be fuzzy and comfy. So after I colored it I used the colorless blender fluid and a wash cloth to press down on the robe. I did stamp 4 different unicorns so that if the process of doing this the robe colors bled, which they did. Then I just cut out the robe and placed it on the other unicorn.

Of course the last thing I added to the card was some Nuvo Aquatic Mist Glitter Drops. I thought it would be fun to add to the card, since it has glitter in it. You can tell that one of the drops is bigger than the others. Probably because I don't know how but I never fail to stick my fingers in the Nuvo drops when i am trying to finish up the card haha!!
The Copic markers I used are:
